Committee members Mark Wistrand
and William Marin have more than
just the Fund in common. They
are both musicians. In fact,
they both play the bass guitar
in local bands. Mark for the
wildly popular "Blues Patrol"
and William with Long Island's
"Sauce". Both bands were eager
to play and offered their
services asking only "Where and
When?".
Thanks to all the musicians and
friends who gave so willingly to
such a worthy cause!

Sauce opened the
day's events with
favorites from
Fleetwood Mac, The
Doobie Brothers,
Janis Joplin and
more. They finished
with a version of
"Into the Mystic", a
song very special to
Evan, his family,
and friends.

Blues Patrol
then took over
and did their
thing. They
played songs
made famous by
the Blues
Brothers but one
little girl
named Kyra
O'Connor was
able to get them
to stray from
their set list
and play the old
standard "Route
66"
Please visit
Blues Patrol at
their
website and
if you are a fan
of the blues
then do yourself
a favor and get
out to see them
when you can.
You will not be
disappointed.
