Dear Chris,
My name is Lani O'Connor, I am Evan's
Mom. Thank you for taking the time to visit
our site today and for leaving us a few
words. I know how hard it must have been for
you to type those words " I have also lost
someone I loved very much" Those are some
hard words to type and say, it cements our
reality and acknowledges that we are
suffering from having lost a loved one. I am
so sorry that you have had to endure your
loss, I know all too well what that is all
about. If you would ever like to talk or
just be heard please do not ever hesitate to
contact me, my email address is
moconnor@thebridgetoforever.org. I am
sending you warm blessings.
Warm Regards,
Lani O'Connor

To the O'Connor's,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I miss Evan so much. I
wish that he could've stayed with us longer. I can't
even begin to imagine how much pain you guys have
been going through. It hurts to accept the fact that
he's not here anymore. I cry so much when I think
about the times we've spent together at camp. During
the Summer of 2006, the bus ride to camp was so
different, because he wasn't there. Yesterday marked
a year since he's left us. Katie C., Rachel B., Tim
L, Allyson M., and I went to Springdale Park on
February 3rd, 2007, to go light
candles in honor of Evan. We miss him very much.
Rest in peace Evan. We love you. <33

I just wanted to say thank you for everybody who
has worked so hard to make Evan a lasting memory. I
know that everybody who he touched has changed and
because of that, nobody will forget him. I do miss
him a lot and there are many people that have been
there for me and I thank them. I hope that memories
of Evan will continue to spread and soon everyone
will be touched by him in one way or another.
Lots of Love,

Evan was the coolest friend I've ever
had. We had known each other since Summer
Camp at Sacred Heart. We learned many things
about each other. But, Evan was a special
friend. He would always be nice and be
gentle to others. That was the best trait he
has. I miss him so much. Who ever had known
him probably known him pretty good, because
this kid was friendly. Rest In Piece Young
Solider. I will come up there one day

Today I received a check from the Evan O'Connor
Memorial Fund to use towards our Christmas Family
Fund that we at Fernco, Inc. in Davison, MI started
28 years ago to provide Christmas to children in our
area that otherwise would not have that experience.
This year we are able to help three families, and
your donation will go a long way to putting a smile
on these kids faces Christmas morning. After reading
about Evan on your wonderful website memorial to
him, we want to repay your kindness and show support
for your great cause as well. After Christmas, we
will hold a fundraiser here in Evan's spirit, and
forward the proceeds in his name.
God Bless and thanks again.
